GRhome is a community platform for the people of Graubünden, a canton in Switzerland. The social network provides a place for local people where they can find exclusive tips and offers.
Information architecture
The main function of the platform is the filter option, that enables the user to select his favourite post results. Thereby he can select between his wished contents, like personal posts, news, events, specials etc.
The more active a user is, the more activity is displayed on his personal profile. In doing so, his status changes, so that the platform offers him more special rates and promotions.
Wireframes
Since this is a community-based information sharing platform, every registered user is able to create his own personal post, an event or an insider tip in just a few simple steps.
Timeline
The main page contains a timeline and is constructed similarly to other social media interfaces. Through selecting preferences in the filter option, the timeline changes based on the user's demands.
Desktop
«Mobile first» was our credo, yet we didn‘t forget our desktop users. We slightly customized the design,
in order to guarantee a smooth and easy interaction with the platform. So it‘s suitable for both, the mobile and the desktop application.
Social Media
GRhome enables double-sided post sharing, what makes the platform even more social. Users can share their external social media posts on the platform or share their GRhome posts directly on Facebook.
